- A love of color and designAllison grew up in Tennessee and has been artistic since she was a child. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising Allison decided to give Austin,TX a try. She always knew a creative career was the right path for her and soon started pursuing cosmetology. Allison has dedicated the past six years to perfecting her craft, and continues to push herself to be better everyday. She has studied under a board certified colorist and an international stylist since earning her license. Allison has also styled hair for many fashion shows and events including Austin Fashion Week. She loves the creative challenges she faces in the salon, greeting them with enthusiasm and professionalism. If you are looking for an amazing salon experience and a highly skilled stylist, you must meet Allison.

I love Allison!

Just wanted to take some time to recommend Allison for all hair needs. I have been going to Allison for years. She has done everything for me from new exciting cuts, color, to quick trims and even did my hair for my wedding! I have loved everything she has done! I've tried to go to others for some cheap in between cuts and am never as happy as I am with Allison's work. I'm in need of something fresh for the summer and will be calling Allison very soon!

I have been going to Allison for years, and even after I moved away to Seattle, when I came into town, I'd harass her for a haircut. I have never been one to color my hair, but I wanted something new and different so we did just a little, and I LOVED IT! I had it done a couple months ago, but I STILL look in the mirror and love it! I work nights and always go in tired, but I can close and my eyes and breathe easy (and nod off :) ) knowing that Allison is making my hair look great!
Allison keeps me coming back
I've always had a really hard time finding a hairdresser that does what I want. It seems like every hairdresser I have been to will completely do the opposite of the color and especially the cut I want. Allison cut my hair and I absolutely loved it! She did exactly what I asked and even offered for me to come back if there was something I didn't like or wanted to change. And a week later, she let me come back for a trim. She is really sweet and made my first experience at the salon one that will keep me coming back. I'm planning on going to her this month for a cut and color because I know she is going to make it look awesome, just in time for summer. I definitely recommend Allison for your next hair appointment!

I just want to let everyone know that if you are looking for a different hairstylist, check out Allison! I moved to south austin about a year ago and have to admit that I have tried another stylist or two during that time because of the drive, but I will for sure be making the drive to see her no matter what. Ever ytime I sit in her chair I feel like I have no need to worry because it always turns out the way I imagined... she takes the time to consult and suggest things about what you want and need out of your cut and color, and then shows you how to style it. I just feel so at ease when she is working on me. I love the way I feel and look when Allison is finished. I know that I can be a little picky at times, and that is why I will only go back to Allison. So Thanks Allison!

I have been going to Allison for several years now. She always understands completely what it is I am looking to have done and communicates effectively before beginning the process. The cuts she gives are very good and very easy to style once I get home.Unfortunately, I live out of town now, but when I can, I make the three hour drive to get my color done here. The technique she uses is not run-of-the-mill, but my color always turns out amazing. Very natural and exactly what I am looking for. And, she is more time efficient than most other stylists that I have been to.
I would recommend Allison to ANYONE!

I've been getting my hair done with Allison S. for a couple years now and really do leave the salon loving my hair. She is very energetic and definitely understands what I ask her to do and does it well. I would definitely recommend her to any and all of my friends. I went see Allison because I was in dire need to get my roots done. I recently moved to Austin and needed to find a new hair dresser, as well. Allison was spectacular with matching my color and creating lots of dimensional colors. She gave me a great cut and blowout, too. She was also very attentive and very friendly and talkative, which makes the hours go by quickly! Lover her and the salon, too.

I met Allison Schingle about a year ago and she does everything to make me feel relaxed and stress free. Every time I come in she asks me if I would like a drink and I always walk out feeling great about my new cut. It's hard to explain how down to earth Allison and the salon are but I recommend Allison to all of my girl friends and guy friends because I know that they would fall in love with her. Honestly, I've tried out other salons downtown that have comparable service, but their prices are outrageous and always entirely too crowded.
She is very easy to talk to, a great listener, and is everything I could ever want in a stylist.
